043 Swedish Late Baroque Chest of Drawers

A Swedish Late Baroque chest of drawers made of pine in the mid-18th century. The bureau was likely produced in a provincial town. It retains its original legs, which are often replaced. The bureau has three drawers of varying sizes, with the top one being the smallest and the largest at the bottom. This reflects a carpenter with a good understanding of proportions. The bureau features key escutcheons and drawer pulls in gilded bronze that are of the time with the piece. A key is included. Depth: 138 cm. Width: 97.5 cm. Height: 83 cm.
